AGM - Extension of the current season until 31st Dec

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions on social gatherings it remains impractical to resume meetings at St Thomas Centre.

A proposal put forward by the President, Simon Beynon to extend the current season until 31st Dec and continue to operate events during that time using the Zoom conferencing facility was approved unanimously at the AGM on 30th July.

It is hoped that meetings at the St Thomas centre will be able to resume in the new year and a draft programme of events is currently being assembled. A draft listing is available to view on the MEETINGS page.

In the meantime, the events being organised by our Programme Secretary for the remainder of this year up to 31st Dec will be detailed below under "DATES FOR YOUR DIARY" as soon as they have been arranged - hopefully this will keep all members (and any prospective new members!) up to date with what the Society is currently able to offer.

We hope there's something for you to enjoy!

Members may recall that one of our Zoom presenters (Ian Boulton) kindly donated his presentation fee to a charity of his choice. (British Heart Foundation) We have recently received a thank-you letter from them thanking us (and Ian)  for the donation. Members interested in the letter can view it here.
